This was my first trip back to the islands in 40 years. Brought my wife, son and grandson to the luau/show and had one of ther best experiences I ever had in the islands. My family was totally captivated with the performance and the story told. Have attended many luaus when statoned on Ohau, but this show was far superior to any I have ever attended.
I am highly recommending your luau/show to all that are planning to vfisit Kauai in the future. Thanks to all concerned with the production for an unforgettable evening.
Like General McArthur, I shall return.

Aloha,
My husband and I attended Luau Kalamaku four years ago while on an NCL cruise and thoroughly enjoyed it. This year we booked the same luau excursion to revisit your wonderful production. I believe I saw many things I missed the first time. We really enjoyed everything from the bus ride over (the driver told us stories and what to expect, and he was funny), the greeting with the dancers and lei, the photos, the "journey", the musicians, and of course, the food.
I was particularly interested in the menu. I would love to know what was listed on the menu, especially the potato/macaroni dish. I would love to find this recipe so that we can relive part of the luau experience.
We hope to revisit this wonderful Hawaiian experience again.

My husband and two cousins and I thoroughly enjoyed our luau experience. The facility was excellent, surroundings beautiful, food delicious (except poi!), and entertainment outstanding.
Two days later we took an all-day van excursion of Kauai and we discovered that our tour guide was Domi, who played the Father the night we were there. He was so entertaining and had lots of inside information about your beautiful island. We'll never forget our Aloha spirit experience!
P.S. As we left I saw that a video was available, but I didn't have time to stop and buy it since our bus was loading up. Is it available for mail order? Thanks, Elaine Mallory

Luau Kalamaku is a must see. I have enjoyed this unique experience several times and an have been completely entertained during each visit. This can be a nearly all day event. The plantation has wonderful dining and shops to visit during the day and grounds to venture through. I highly recommend the train ride for education of Kauai/plantation and some giggles.
The luau keeps you busy and entertained from the moment you arrive. There are crafts to view and purchase, as well as activities for children. My daughter has been attending this luau with me since she was an infant and enjoys it each time. The food/bar is spectacular...you must try the poi to complete the culinary experience.
The musicians and their melodies are miraculous. The show is educational and grabs all of your attention. There are female fire dancers who make this show even more unique. As for Ari and his fire knife dancing...WOW. You're really missing out if you don't watch him at least once.
Each time I am serenaded by this experience, I sit in aww of how much work must go into such a wonderful production. I appreciate the dedication and give my many thanks to each and every cast/crew member who make such a wonderful production possible. I'm already planning my next visit and will definitely include Luau Kalamaku as the highlight of my Kauai activities.
